Algeciras
ALGECIRAS takes its name from the Arabic "Al-Yazirat-Alhadra", meaning Green Island, and sits on the bay opposite the Rock of Gibraltar. It is a cosmopolitan city with one of the most important fishing and commercial ports on the Mediterranean sea. The port is also a busy terminal for ferries and other passenger ships.
Sports
Many sport activities are offered in the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, including mountaineering, hiking, horse riding, hunting, fishing and of course, water sports, especially windsurfing, kite surfing and scuba diving in Tarifa.

Campo de Gibraltar
The Campo de Gibraltar is the southernmost region in the province of Cadiz. Its privileged location between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and between the two continents of Europe and Africa, as well as over a hundred kilometres of golden beaches and the wonderful Los Alcornocales Natural Park, make it the favorite destination for many visitors who spend their holidays here.

Beaches
In Algeciras there are two extensive beaches, Rinconcillo and Getares, that offer so many services, that Getares have achieved the European Blue Flag. Tarifa has an endless and beautiful beach that spreads up to a paradisiac place called Valdevaqueros's inlet, nicknamed as the " Paradise of the Windsurfing ".
